Heya...trying to grow potatoes in containers...not going so well!! It's been a month and no potato leaves popping through!!

can i use the info mentioned here to grow wild carrot?

I just got three blue 55 gallon barrels ( food grade). I think when I cut it in half it will make two 30 gallon planter containers. Carrots would be fun to try in them and maybe a couple other root type vegetables. I don't want to fill them with bag miracle stuff lol. All I have is peat moss, sta green potting soils and bagged compost. Time to find some perlite, and vermiculite if I can.

Has anyone used the sta green potting soil mix for carrot growing?

PLEASE HELP im growing carrots takes 70-85 days its been about 30 but the tips and a few stems are turning brown a diying why? there no carrots yet still just roots so there not ready to be pulled or anything anyone have any idea whats wrong?

hi luke, im growing carrots in a grow bag, but it has been 3 months now, people said mostly carrots harvested in 2,5-3 months. but my carrots seems just forming it's bulbs. is it okay to wait more longer so i can have bigger carrots or indeed produce small bulbs?

Thanks, good video. I've been growing in containers for years, my one suggestion is to put your containers in a tray that holds water. It will collect the excess water and the plant can draw it back when needed. It also solves another problem that I have, the tree roots are so aggressive around here that they will invade pots that are sitting on the ground.

I have shallots, tomatoes, Carrots, leaf lettuce, bush beans, zucchini, peas, Stevia, and watermelon all in containers. so far they are doing well. lettuce is so tender and tasty.

what is more nutritious top soil or potting soil/mix?

This is a timely video, I had the idea to use a large, rectangular bin for growing carrots inside my shed in a sunny, southern-facing window. Perhaps they should just be left outside. The weather here is getting ready to be rainy almost every day and very hot, humid. I thought better indoors (no A/C) because it can be controlled. Do carrots require cold temps for sweetness? What are your thoughts on this? Thanks!!

Just wandering I can not grow carrots or anything etc just from seed I have to germinate my first how in the world do you just drop a seed in there like that dude lmao.
