7. I have yet to have any success growing broccoli or cauliflower. I've tried 2 years in a row both spring and fall seasons. The plants never mature when the seed packs say they will and I never get any heads. I end up harvesting the greens. I presently have one cauliflower plant that is at least 3 months old. Its very small, about 10 leaves but looks healthy now and has been growing more since the weather has cooled in my region. (zone 7/Philly, PA) It's in a container getting full sun. The others were in a raised bed. I'm praying for success. I really want to harvest it. I fertilize with fish emulsion and seaweed. Any tips to get it growing more?

I live near Memphis where the weather is super hot in the summer, and I'm hoping for a mild winter. I'm really excited to experiment growing all kinds of fruits and vegetables.

14. My seedlings keep growing to leggy. I even tried germinating in a dark 70° degree closet shelf as one video recommended. It didnt work. Too leggy. What can I do? Thank you.

18. The spray that worked on my bug ridden kale was 2 c H2O, 1t H2O2, 1t Castile soap , 1/2t deem oil. I am hoping it will work for my fall garden, broccoli, cabbage, Brussels sprouts. Good luck!
