My plant took 5 years to bloom.

Nice video. I have been growing one now for 6 months. I was wondering when they would bloom.

So if the leaf has grown dry and brown do I clip just the leave or pruwn the whole stem going down to the base?

What do you think about using Strelitzia in constructed wetlands for domestic wastewater treatment, with gravel, in a subtropical climate, like south of Brazil? The temperature in winter reaches 0º C (32 º F). We plant Heliconia last year and died completely in winter. Thanks!

Can you talk about the size for the orange and blue BOP? Is there more than one size? I would like to grow them in the house. How big a pot should I use and which orange and blue BOP would be the best choice for me?

Luke is cute

Mine was given to me and was in marginal condition. I separated it. The leaves droop terribly. I've tried various watering schedules but no change. It's nothing I can think of.
I'd appreciate any advice. I have 3 so need to figure them out! -
what can i do about my leaves browning in the tips?

I have a BOP in a huge pot on my patio, but it has never bloomed. It is huge now. I live in the northern part of Florida, and it has survived freezing temperatures, especially when we had Vortex temperatures a couple of years ago. I'm surprised it survived. It is tough. But it has never bloomed. 😕What am I doing wrong? I don't fertilize it because I thought rain water has nutrients for the roots. The plant is about 15 years old. Thanks

I just love staring at him LOL

We have a bird (not white) we need to move. It is about 10feet or more tall and huge. We need to move it because it might be breaking the pipes for the pool. Can I cut it down to the dirt to try and replant the root. It produces beautiful flowers, makes me sick that it needs to be moved per husband.

Larry (luke) you need to show how from seed to plant. This is a horrible video.
