l have a question on growing apple fruit trees, my apple fruits do note grow big enough, they are harder when you bite & the fruit itself have a bitterness taste, what is needed , to make them good, big soft taste fruits

need to tack your shovel and cut all the ruts .plant it 8 inches deeper as long as the union is above the ground put the union in to the wind so your Walmart tree don,t brake. off thin cut the tree so it is about 1 fut tall stomp it in and water .If you put your tree in the dirt it wont fall over make sure it on a vitaraka resent root or save you a lot of time and put in the trash can

I prefer to plant my fruit trees half a foot below the soil level. The reason for that is so that when I throw fertiliser or water the plant in the future the water and the fertiliser would stay around the plant and be absorbed by the plant, instead of running away.
Another reason is that I heavily mulch my fruit trees and a lower that soil level surface will retain the mulch much better eg, by preventing it from being blown a way by the wind. -

I planted just like that but I watching many show and they plant with open roots, so not sure which is the right and better way of doing it.
