Hello,
I planted a purple tomatillo plant without knowing anything about tomatillos and their need for a companion plant for pollination. Could the plant get its pollinating needs met from the neighboring tomato and pepper plants? My lone tomatillo has gotten huge but there just isn't the fruit, -
what if my tomatillo have grown without husks

I had bad luck with these, only had one that formed. I had about four plants growing in the same area. I don't have bee's so I'm guessing that's why. Anyway I can help them pollinate? The recipe looks great!

I I'm growing tomatillos on my balcony for my second time to try. Last time I had a good harvest in a topsy turvy, the fruits were a little small, but I made good sauce.
This year im growing in a 10gal terracotta pot. I just have one plant though I transplanted it in in March. The plant gets full sun and I feed it monthly, but the tomatillos or their blossoms fall off before growing large.
Do I have to have a second tomatillo plant for them to pollinate.
Ive put a lot of effort into this large plant and I want it to succeed.
Should I trim it back maybe its too large for the pot?
im not sure. Thanks for any help. -
I'm growing tomatillos for the first time this year... The largest fruit has split out of it's husk, but is still resistant to being pulled from the plant. Is it ready to harvest, or should I give it more time? Also, can they be left on the plant and remain ripe until they're ready to use?

I grew tomatillos once and forgot about them I had to clean up and throw away dried branches and spoiled fruit. Next season I saw them sprouting again! This time I am fertilizing them and hope it goes well.

First of all, nice videos! very informative. I do have a question. I have tomatillos for the first time and I have seedlings now. I was wondering what the minimum size container can be. Can one plant be potted in a 12 liter bucket? or does it have to be bigger? Thanks in advance.
