Any update on that mango plant/tree? Has it produced fruit yet? I'm on my third attempt, having learned not to overwater it.

Personally, I wouldn't wait until the seed sprouts leaves before potting. I plant them as soon as the root appears and lengthens to about an inch or so (2.5cm). Less chance of the plant experiencing transplant shock. I also completely seal my bags and change the paper towel every week to keep things fresh while the seed germinates.

is it possible in indoor?

your channel would be more helpful if you gave more informations per a minute of ranting. I usually speed up the instructional videos to get to the point faster but with some youtubers the talking becomes intelligible when sped up and it's very annoying to listen to as they keep yapping and yapping

Wow! Thank you for sharing!

There is actually a weak point... on the top of the seeds husk!!! It's a dark indentation where the stem connected. Insert the knife there!!! That's how you open a mango seeds with a knife. You can use a butter knife as long as you hit the weak point in the seam!

So after a couple years I have to ask, how did it turn out?
-
nice video! at what point do you need to transfer it to a larger pot?
-
keep the paper towel in pot as micro nutrients in paper deposited from seed.😃

Buried that tree a little deep there buddy

I did one about a year ago and it grew about a foot tall and then just died. It was so weird. I'm starting a new one and am having a hard learning about pruning. Do you pinch off the new growth in order to make it grow outward instead of tall? I know my avocados love to be pinched.

Should I seal or tie the bag? Or do I just keep the seed moist and allow airflow into the bag without sealing it?
