do u grow kaffir lime ?
-
Do we have to water it when it is on the ziplock bag?????
-
It's not a good thing to grow citrus from seed because if there are any other citrus trees around you could get any of them the chances of you getting a lime is kind of low

Thanks for the video! I'm already growing lemon seeds but one question, when I transplant them can I use the normal garden potting soil? (it's all I have...)
Thanks! -

Hello there. I tried this method with calamansi seeds. It didn't work maybe because the only seeds I could get was from a frozen fruit. I thaw it out first of course. Another one I have the hardest time growing is Kaffir lime and curry seeds. I bought the seeds from ebay and I think I bought 20 seeds each and none of them germinated. SO FRUSTRATED!! This is my 2nd year trying. I live in Indiana and none of my local plant nursery carry these 3 amazing plants. So, I have to start from seeds.
I tried your method. It didn't work. But it worked great on my Lemon / Lime / pepper seeds.
I tried using Citrus soil, didn't work
I tried Organic soil (Miracle Grow)
I tried soil with and without vermiculite, coco peat, and perlite... played around with different type of soil.
I am at loss here. Any suggestion or ideas is GREATLY appreciated. -
Thank you :-)

Hello. I saw in another video that you keep the bag in a warm dark place. Can I just put my bag indoors in the sun? Or do I have to keep the bag in a warm dark place? Thanks!

Feb 5th 2016: New learner. so I follow your instructions and the is in the bag with the paper damp towel. How long to germinate? After the germination appears, then plant the seeds in a pot. How many seeds per pot? Any special soil? thanks bruce @78; almost 79.
