When you mention there shouldn't be any soil around the base to avoid trunk rot, I'm not sure what you mean. No new fertilized soil? There's always going to be soil around the base...

Hi loved your video was very informative.I have just bought my first lemon tree but would like to keep it in a pot.Please can you tell me how often I would need to repot it ie every year? And is it a bad idea to use natural chicken fertiliser? as my friend has loads of the stuff I could use.Thankyou shaz
