How to Grow A Dwarf Avocado Tree at Home http://goo.gl/MrW5V3 In this video I discuss how I planted and have taken care of my Dwarf Avocado tree, it used to be in a container for about 3 years and has recently been planted into the ground. I mounded the tree, to make sure it has excellent drainage, so it won't suffer from root rot (Phytophera). I will keep you updated on the tree as it grows! Hi Marty, i'm from Greece and today i just planted my first avocado! It was grown from a seed and even thow it's about 30cm tall it only has 5 leaves. When should i prune it? Should i wait for more leaves or prune it either way? There are some more leaves on it's stem but they are not grown yet.

Hey Marty another question I couldn't find an answer anywhere else.
So my mom moved my seeds to direct sunlight when I wasn't there. Now they are really red from being sunburnt. Does this mean they are gonna die? -

Good video. I bought a dwarf avocado from; http://www.logees.com/, hoping to grow it here in Wisconsin USA. It gets cold here in the winter and was hoping it would do OK in the pot, re-potted it into a larger pot. Have it in a 4 seasons room now. But so far it's lost it's leaves and I don't know if it is alive or dead. The trunk is still green so I think it is still alive. Finishing up my green house and I'm planning to put it in there. Wish me luck on it.
p.s. I started a tree from a seed and that's doing just fine, and it's in a 3"" pot. -
Tried this in North London/
Oops! died after the first winter.
