This video was really awkward for me to watch :/ Came here to get some tips & couldnt even finish the video but it was pure ranting and sarcastic comments.... woah
-
you talk too much
-
Such an unnecessary rant? Came for hair tips but being as you were ranting I didn't stay to finish. Who cares what ppl say negative about you? If you know you're making a difference to women. I dunno but it's not that serious ✌🏽
-
I love you!!!! The natural community is so judgmental..... There's a difference between a suggestion and telling someone they are doing it wrong.... Everyone's hair is different and different things work for different people... Continue to do the way that works for you 👍🏽
-
Ok if she's getting results in how she does her hair especially for her texture of her hair mind ya business dont watch her videos if u dont have this typa hair u should not be here because different things work for different people
-
I comb/braid my hair too lol. My mom always asks "didn't you just do your hair yesterday". I'm like no lady, this is a process
-
Karen you are doing beautifully! I cornrow too BTW. Haters gon hate.
-
You guys know this is a rant right? She is talking about the people who constantly tell her that she is doing her hair wrong, not people who give her tips. What people forget is that it's HER hair, and she knows what to do for it to stay healthy. If you feel offended then maybe you are the ones who criticize people for doing what they want to do THEIR hair.

I have to say I usually don't like when YouTubers address negative comments but I loved the sarcasm passive aggressive attitude GlamFun is giving effortlessly. I'm totally going to work on this approach rather than just cursin fukers out.

But about that advice tho, I'm going bak to the hair routine my sister did on me when I was a kid that many of the natural hair community has shunned and one of the things I'm trying out again is hair grease. Any thoughts? I've only been trying it for a month now and I noticed that though it doesn't have the same slip as other products, it does help my hair feel sorfter than products and oil, but not by much. I also am conflicted on whether to use it on dry or wet hair, or if it doesn't matter. Tried both and haven't made up my mind yet.

Heyyyy, I was originally coming on here to ask your advice about something but then I saw this video. Just wanted to say I love your channel, I saw it a couple of years back but didn't about subscribing back then and lost track of it. Recently rediscovered it and I love it because it's one of the few well known channels of styles for 4c hair, everybody wants these baby bouncy curls and those are the main videos that you see that don't work for other JUST AS BEAUTIFUL types of hair. Anyways, you use great tools to do your hair that I did as a child like finger combing and cornrowing and using water and/or oils or other products before you even touch your head (I didn't even know it was possible to comb it dry unless you straightened it), when I look back on my hair as a kid and when I look at your hair, it's so healthy, thick, shiny, and just beautiful! But because people with bouncy hair dominate youtube, there's a lot either misconceptions or policing on what's always best and always wring for people's hair when everybody's head is different.
Sorry for the long comment, just wanted to help affirm you if I could -
these people who take time out of there lives to help other people manage there hair should not be criticized 😒😒
-
You are the most relatable, honest 4c youtuber I've seen. Thank you for sharing your journey.. loving the glamfun way!
-
Do you use flat twists under your wigs? because i definitely don't know how to braid.
-
Literally the funniest video ever.. She coming for everyone 😂😂
-
This is definitely an annoying rant, you don't have to respond to these loser haters. We know your hair is growing, we can see it
-
lol..omg..u tooold them..ppl are so ignorant and Quick to judge when u dont do things according to the "american way" smh..YOUR way WORKS..thats all that matters..good job!
-
great Advice , but it's annoying how you keep talking about how other people feel about your methods.
-
your getting results yes, your hair is growing yes, but you never know if it could be longer did you ever think of that?
-
I've been natural for almost a decade now. In the beginning, I used combs, brushes..all that. Then recently, I stopped using combs so often and realized it's good for my hair. I think it just depends on the person, like you said. And i also put in chunky braids to stretch/detangle. Trial and error brought me to this method and if it works for you, keep doing you boo.
