We have just recently began to discover silvery trails on our dining room carpet, but even though we have followed the trails, they seem to stop in the middle of the floor. So wehave been unable to find out where these nasty little things have come from. We do alsohave the same problem in the kitchen. I often find slimy trails along the bottom of thekitchen units. I even found one inside our oven at one point, and I thought it was just apiece of emulsified gravy until I picked it up, and two Antenna's appeared. They are usually a sort of dark green colour, but they are aweful.

It's the chicken's job.

1 time, there was a small slug on the carpet in my home, (they came every winter when the walls would sweat from the heaters) and I grabbed the salt and trapped it in a small circle of salt. I watched it try and get out, reacting to the salt every time it got close. After about 10 minutes, 2, much bigger slugs and a few smaller 1s, had come over to the ring of salt as if they were coming to get that other slug? They hung around for ages. They eventually left, but 1 of the bigger slugs hung around till the little 1 in the salt ring died from the salt. Than the big guy left. I FEEL LIKE I MURDERED SOMEONES CHILD! Leaves me feeling like a sack of shit when I think about it...

What about a slug relocation program?

Most common is butterflies lay there eggs under the leafs.

I live in the PNW, where slugs are rampant, and beer, in a wine bottle laid on its side in the garden, cut my slug population by about 2/3 in a summer. Snails are a different story. Slugs and snails also love to snuggle up to soaker hoses. You are WAY overusing the Sluggo, (1 teaspoon/square yard), and you should never use it where ducks and chickens can eat it. Not safe for dogs, either. The EDTA in it is lethal in combination with iron phosphate. Refer to the Cloudforest Gardener.

my garden is invaded by harmless tiny snails, i didn't realize they were the one eating holes on my flowers though

It would probably do better in the raised bed if it isn't too far gone. Good luck!

Please make it soon :). Should I transplant my pepper again? this time I m thinking of transplanting in the raised bed next to my tomatoes. Is it a good idea?
-
Thanks for the suggestion, that would be useful video. Yeah, try a five gallon or ten gallon pot for your pepper. It probably just didn't have enough soil to get to maturity.
-
I'll try that for tomatoes . Yes its like a gallon and I bought that pepper plant like 2 weeks ago. Can you please make a video on cleaning your pots please it'll be very helpful. :)

Other leaf chewers are: goldfinches, cabbage loopers, cabbage worms, flea beetles, colorado potato beetles, Japanese beetles, grasshoppers and tomato hornworm. The ants sometimes farm aphids or scale, but unless you are in the extreme southern U.S. there aren't leaf cutter ants to worry about.

For your tomatoes look for an organic fertilizer like bone meal with higher middle number than first number. Look for an analysis like 0-10-10 or 3-15-0. Try changing the soil and cleaning the pot with hot water and vinegar, that will get rid of any soil born thing. How big is the pot? If it is small like a 1 gallon then the pepper may be getting rootbound.

what should I give to my tomatoes?!?and I m growing pepper in a pot!!the soil is not wet but moist I don't know where I m going wrong..!
-
If the tomatoes are looking good but not producing flowers it might be that they have too much nitrogen and not enough phosphorus. Nitrogen (the first number on a fertilizer bag) stimulates vegetative growth but not flowers. As for the peppers their may be something in the soil like verticillium wilt, it could also be a water problem, too much or too little. I hope that helps.
