I have an aquaponic fish tank and I have just started adding plants after the ones I had in it had all died out. Now I have 1 bamboo stalk and the tips of its leaves are starting to turn yellow. Would adding a few more plants to feed off the stop the yellowing? The tank water is a bit dirty at the moment. Could it be that?

Some municipalities uses chloramines rather than chlorine. If a water system uses chloramines they do not evaporate when leaving the water out as chlorine does.

You can also use aquarium water on all your plant. My wife plant have flourish ever since I stated using water from my fish tank. You see the Nitrate in the water is food for the plants. I have 15 small Lucky Bamboo plants in my external filter on my aquarium. They have a really nice green color on the leaves.
