If your in a cold zone it is best to not fertilize your plants just before the snow and ice. Also I have wasted so much money on fertilizer that does now make the plants produce. It made big beautiful leaves with no flowers to produce fruit. So I did some online research. Some one told me rabbit droppings was the secret. So I mixed up some rabbit droppings with water and poured it around the plants and for the first time was loaded with flowers and berries. LOL! Here in NY zone 5 strawberries are so resilient. I have to pull up and I give away box loads of strawberry plants each year. LOL! June bearing plants are usually a ground cover. The Alpines are day neutral and don't spread like a ground cover but very tiny plants and fruit through out the summer. There are also other ever bearing breeds. Some have pretty pink rose or even close to red flowers. LOL! I do believe the largest of the strawberry fruits may be from a specific breed of June bearing. There are SO many breeds.

Like Mr. Ramos commented, I appreciate the straight forward instructions, no extraneous commenting, no bad music sound track etc.

Great video. It's what you want YouTube to be: straight forward instructions without "verbal complications". Thank you!

How about used tea bags? and dried leaves? I am looking for stuff which is easily available, because we don't get organic fertilizers from where i live.

great video great tips thank you!

"use a balanced fertilizer"
the name doesn't matter - use the same content of NPK (nitrogen - phosphorus - potassium)
Do strawberries benefit from the addition of any micronutrients? Boron, sulfur, zinc? -
I recommend that you take some lessons in how to do a " how to " Youtube video. When you do a video the way the viewer wants to hear it done, you will include the name of the fertilizer that you are using in the video. It's a waste of everyone's time to just say you use a balanced fertilizer and exclude the name.
