We hope you guys like it^^ For those wondering, this is how you unlock the island: (a few steps involved) ★First you must pay off the initial loan of 39,800 bells. You pay it off at the ATM in the post office, and go talk to Tom Nook in the Real estate shop (**many people FORGET this step but it is crucial for moving forward). ★The next day (after everything has been paid off) go to the docks, you'll see Tortimer there. Talk to him. ★The day after that, you'll be able to use the boat at the dock to go to the Island with Kapp'n. Just note it costs 1,000 bells to go there and you can go anytime, it is open 24 hours a day. You can go alone, or with friends, or even online. Thank you for the advice! It even worked, especially WITHOUT the bell town technique. I've gotten 361,000 bells at the end, and it really surprised me.

On Animal Crossing Wikia, it says that the Bell Boom Ordinances allows "shops to sell and buy items for 20% more bells." Doesn't that mean that by enacting it, it doesn't make a difference, since you get 20% more for selling stuff, but items for sale are also 20% more expensive?
