Wish I had soil like that! So diggable and crumbly. Ours in the UK is so cloying and sticky like mud. And I wouldn't get away with wearing shorts either :)

I use the sand method to store. Works great.
Doesn´t dry out and have no problems with funghi.
And i´m putting them in large plastic bucket´s that i can stack into a tower. Top of container is wider than the bottom of the container. That way it doesn´t take mutch room, for a lot of plants. There for i also need sand because the buckets don´t have a lid. Sand goes untill the top.
Going to try taking cuttings also from the first time. I hope it works.
It's a dahlia that bee's like, the little onces, and only have one. -
