It's always great to give it a serious hardscape redo- that dirty black gravel on the right side was killing me.....not any more. Now this tank is starting to get enticing to me, when I look at it I find where it needs more... This is how I roll, i stop looking at it and come back and check it out an make adjustments. "Can't see the forest through the trees" I now leave the water level low so I can get back into it easier and play. the little tweeks. Breaking up the anubias is pretty much always a good idea as well. I love that you can make the aquarium a piece of art with a story. In regards to types of fish, my love is for Cichlid and their ability to move rocks around and create a cave network.

The fact that i can just let myself go to my friends local aquaponics or under water gardening and the ability to just let my ideas flow with my favorite fish ANGELFISH which i just finished scaping their fry tank and it has helped me through a stage of depression because my parents mad me sell my 700 GALLON madea sized tank which help my spotted amazonian freshwater rays that died do to a stupid mistake my dad made by putting tap water in the tank when i had to do something very important in the middle of a water change and he did not put in h20 dechlorinator so ur vids have helped me through a very big brick wall in my life

I just love having fish, and i'll pretty much get what i feel they will enjoy of. Also i love anything to do with water and the life under it. I love naturalistic look so my aquarium fish are just a school of scissortails and algae eaters. Aquarium is like a way to escape reality. It makes me relaxed to work on it.

I've always owned aquariums and I guess for me I get the greatest joy from knowing that o created this ecosystem where the animals
I love live. I'm directly responsible for their lives. If I mess up I learn and I pay for it. Interacting with the tanks via water changing, feeding, etc are serious zen moments for me. Breeding and raising fish are also extremely rewarding. -
You get out what you put in.... If you have the patience take time with maintenance you get rewarded by an awesome display and you know everything is in harmony and healthy I've had a reef tank before but my passion is freshwater tropicals. It's all about the green Dustin
