Good information, but wondering if something else is a better remedy-

Excellent video - I especially appreciate the section showing how the leaf miner deposits the egg and then how the new leaf miner eats its way out. Thanks for the infor on Safer Endall as well.

Be CAREFUL if you have pets. Neem is deadly for pets.

You cannot find it in any store. You have to get it online.

Great video. Thanks

I am going to make spray out of a small amount of baby oil (mineral oil) and soap to thin it out in water. I might add a dash of cayenne pepper.

i have these all over my tomatillos :(

This is a chemical that kills everything - as in beneficial bugs and bees, too. I don't consider this good advice.

Omg, thank you so much for this video!! I've been looking everywhere for what the heck this is. I thought it was a fungus. It's all over my garden. Very gross that it's a bug. Just bought the spray from Amazon. Hopefully it will take care of it.

Reaganite 71...My method worked well for me this year. It falls in line with what you've said in the video. Each morning I check my plants and pinch off any infected leaves. I either burn them with a torch lighter or warm them to perfection in my BBQ. These creatures have been a real problem in my area but this method seems to be the ticket.

I found Safer End All (finally) at Ace Hardware. It is a good product I suppose, but it did not kill leaf miners and does not mention them on the label. The agricultural agency near me said the only effective way to kill them is to remove the infected leaves and destroy them.

Will neem oil work on these? Just bought a tree and notice them. Ughhhh now I'm afraid I'm going to get it on a sweet lemon tree I sprouted from seed.
-
what happen to the other insects? you are killing all bees, butterflies....If you really have to use it, better wash the plant after few minutes or put a plastic bag on it

BLUE sticky traps are for LEAF MINER FLYS and thrips. I got mine at Amazon

I think this is better than buying all kinds of poisons. youtube.com/watch?v=m6m9xzhphLs youtube.com/watch?v=nT4UlLJwYqc

Arrrgggh!!! Never ever apply an pesticide in the wind! It can blow back on you or go in other areas you don't want! Wait for the air is quiet... usually in the early part of the day.

Great information!! Thanks so much. I just found this on the leaves of my young cucumber plants & was trying to figure out what it was. I subbed ya channel.
