Very informative video. To the point, easy to remember. Now I know my Bearded Irises won't bloom...much work to do on my iris bed. Thanks!

Could someone help me? I planted a bunch of tall iris rhizomes and I know now that I should not have covered them completely with soil. They have emerged and are only about 3 inches tall. I can see that a couple of them have flower buds AT GROUND LEVEL!! What on earth?! It does not appear that they will be getting much taller. Is there anything I can do to salvage these plants, or should I dig them out and toss them?

Hello, i planted some dutch iris and they had just begun to send down some roots and send up some shoots. I checked them today and saw that 2 had been dug up by something. i found the bulb lying somewhere with the top ripped off and its roots as well. strangely, the roots and stem remained where the bulb had been planted as if though the creature didn't want them. Do you have any idea what it could be and how i can protect against it? i think they also went for my hyacinths because there was a hole next to them but my hyacinths must have been too big or something because none were dug out of the soil

It's called a "Rhizome", not a "Rhizone". Just saying.
