How to bonsai a Conifer Part 2.
Tips, Tricks
How to bonsai a nursery plant How to bonsai a conifer Picea Glauca Part 2. This is an out door tree and does stay ever green in the winter, but stops growing. This conifer was a nursery stock purchased in summer of 2012 and in part one it was made into a bonsai, where I showed step by step how to transform it from a nursery stock into a stunning bonsai tree. It has since been pruned annually, wired and styled a few times. After removal of wire , the branches stayed in their new position for a while. As the branches grew and got thicker, the branches moves back pointing upwards. During the last three years, at pruning, I have removed more branches and in this video , some more branches are removed and the tree is wired again. Beginners can learn to bonsai by following my videos, they contain the best bonsai tips and also teach care and maintenance of bonsai trees. In this video I have refined and balanced the look of the tree by removing more branches, wiring the branches. The top third of the tree has too many branches and some more are removed. The part one of this video link is below. in these videos this conifer has been made from a nursery stock into a shohin, mame bonsai tree. Any one, including beginners can follow these steps in conjunction with my other videos on bonsai basics, bonsai soil mix, preparing a bonsai pot with wire mesh over drainage holes and anchor wires and watering techniques, and have the same results which are shown in the two videos in on this tree Part one can be viewed at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkAuXE2RIfM Please visit our website: www.mikbonsai.co.uk Follow us on twitter: https://twitter.com/mikbonsai Like, Share and follow us on fb: www.facebook.com/mikbonsai

Hi Iqbal, a really enjoyable video and update. You have created so much extra work for yourself in editing the plane noises out of your videos but, it really has paid off, I can now hear everything you say and not distracted by the aircraft, very well done and thought about by you :) your extra work is really appreciated here. My Father has a full size Glauca growing in his garden, it's in the region of 28 feet tall !, when I get the chance I will photograph it and PM you the image, it's totally un-pruned and natural. All the best, Sandy.
