I heard of using coconut oil which I am trying right now; but I never heard of using aloe vera for shine. I need to try that.

ive been doing this for many years now and it does work great! it didnt really thicken my hair but improved the quality of my hair, got rid of dandruff, made my hair shiny and really soft.. i apply it twice a week.

I blend the aloe vera with some water and spread it all over my hair and Massage. Then I leave it for 1 hour or more before washing it.
