When you know how to acclimate aquarium plants in your planted tank you will have much better success in growing plants in your planted tanks. I talk about this in the Dirted Tank Guide: http://www.howtosetupaplantedtank.com/ You have remember that plants take time to acclimate. Aquarium plants in your planted tank take time to get growing. You have to understand that your new plants have grown leaves and roots based on the conditions they were in before they got into your planted tank. So you have to realize that they might need some time to regrow under the conditions of your planted tank. It is not uncommon for plants to loose their leaves and wither away. Some call this crypt melt, but it can happen in other plants as well. Not to worry. If you have good substrate (food) your plants will grow just fine. can i put plants that are in my back yard in my aquarium

Dustin is right about acclimation. It also helps if you have a timer and Co2 booster. My Amazon swords almost withered away when I first bought them. After setting up a timer and adding Co2 booster, there is a massive growth of leaves. It takes a lot of patience in these hobby, it's all about trial and error.

my sword plants did this when i first bought them and i thought i fucked up :) they lasted about a year then i changed from a planted angel fish tank to African cichlids.

@Dustinsfishtanks i went to several petshops to look for the plant you mentioned but most of them sell cabomba (what kind of shop is that?)...i found one that sell amazon sword but the salesperson said that i shouldn't buy it coz it's wilted.i told her it was just acclimating and it's fine.but she insisted that it's dead..i didn't argue anymore coz i don't wanna get into fight with her.so i just bout the cabomba instead.
