How I Grow Organic Dwarf Citrus Trees In Containers
Tips, Tricks
Here I show you how you too can grown an organic citrus tree in a container. Many say you should not use coco coir or compost, yet they are willing to sell you expensive products that can only be bought through them. I have grown mine in this medium for years and you can too. disclaimer: when using coco coir/compost. Please keep it to 20% .

I loved your video. What size plastic pots are you planting your fruit trees? Also, when do you change the soil; do you trim the roots in order to keep the size of the dwarf fruit trees small? What other fruit trees do you grow besides citrus? Thank you

I was day dreaming about growing citrus trees earlier today, I often dream of buying a large, old country house with a walled garden which has been neglected for many years. In my dream I spend time to renovate the garden.I used to love to garden, until a few months ago I lived with a friend who had neglected his garden for many years and I worked in it in return for him cooking for me. I had to leave my lodgings in September and have come to live with a friend who has a much smaller garden with little scope for me working in it. I have suffered from depression for many years and, now i don't have a garden, I'm starting to feel very low at times. Last night I went to visit a friend who lives in a large block of flats. At one point I planned to get him to go out and then I would throw myself out of the window. It was so real whilst i was thinking this.
Please spar me a thought whilst I try and work through this hell I'm going through. Some people might say that I'm stupid to write this on a public website where others can see it but I feel that it is far better that I write something about what I'm going through hoping that it will be read by at least one person who will empathise with my situation rather than just sit and wonder how I can deal with this horrendous period I find myself going through. Far better to do something, far better to write and communicate than just sit there staring into space and feeling despondent.
I have understood that the nicest thing you can do for anyone is to think about them. Thinking about people, visualising them in your mind and transmitting your energy to them is a wonderful gift which you can give and without getting attached to them or involved in their life. I really would be deeply touched to anyone who would include me in their thoughts and transmit some energy to me to help me in my fight against these depressions. Thank you. -
Great job

Hello Sir, Question.... I live in zone 8a I had a lemon tree I bought from a very small tree, now she bloomed and only 1 lemon grew, now after that one small harvest, 5 years later I have never seen another lemon, now I see blooms every year and she is getting taller and more branches with beautiful green leaves, but no lemons, when I asked the question at my local nursery what was I doing wrong? Oh my goodness she laughed at me so bad, (yes I was quite embarrassed,) so once she pulled her self together she told me my lemon tree needs a mate. Can you explain to me what I need to do for my Meyer lemon tree. Thanks for your time.

Hello, I love Citrus , I live in Vancouver, BC Canada. I have two Citrus in pots and I keep them inside my condo in the winter under my LED lights. I have been successful. Now I want to grow bigger Citrus (not tiny fruits ) the real orange in pots. But so hard to get the real mature orange plant in Canada. So I am planning to Visit San Francisco area end of November to December of this year and I want to buy a plant or two , and carry on with the plane on my way back.. Do you have any ideas how to process that to pass immigration and disease control department way in Canada ? Thanks in advance.

I tried to plant them but no success because the weather in NZ not worm enough. I have been holiday in San Francisco for two weeks last month, lots of organic fruit. I like to ate them so nice.

Hi, in regards to having top of the root ball show above the soil line, how many inches would you say that would be? One or two inches?

I love your terrace garden and pots full of fruits ! Just wondering why have you chosen a large plastic pot for growing. Wouldn't a colander, pond bucket or fabric pot be much better ? The latter have better drainage, better root aeration and have the extra benefit of air-pruning, for denser roots. So, is there a specific reason why you are using a regular plastic pot ?

LOL! You sound like Kenan Thompson!
