thought you were not supposed to cut them til spring, Joe. It increases the chance they will rot. You also don't have to separate them. I disagree entirely with your comment. Look around and you will see there are many ways to store dahlias, not just one way. If yours works for you, stick with it,

You didn't separate them and you didn't cut off the "ends"... and what about needing an "eye" for next years beginning growth.... VERY POOR PRESENTATION...
