how to pink color of bougainvillea plant change flower color from grafting

This explains how to pot a Bougie in the ground....how about repot one into a slightly larger pot as recommended by the seller? I bought one that came with beautiful magenta color, 3 feet tall here in the north atlantic state of NY. I intend to carry it over till Spring and then have it in my sunny patio area. BTW, that was a month ago...now it has lost its 'flowers', but no leaves. I brought it in to a sunny south window, but the sun light is about 2-3 hours on a good day. How do i keep this plant from dying, if and once all the leaves drop off. Water? How much, how often? wait till Spring to repot?

Consider the idea that it will be spectacular when you have bougainvilleas in your garden. But always take note that it must be planted in the right place as it has thorns that can cause potential harm. Honestly, I believe with these tips and I am so grateful I found this very helpful video. In addition, bougainvilleas itself are visually pretty.
