I grew some hollyhock from seed and planted it several years ago. For the first 2 years, the rust attacked the plants. Most of the plants didn't come back, but there are 2 that continued to come back and now it looks very healthy. I'd like to know where the rust came from because I'd never seen it anywhere in my garden until I planted the hollyhocks.

I have what I think is rust on my apple tree and I hate it but I'm trying no spray this year and see how it does because I can never remember to spray it enough and it gets spots then when I do spray the leaves end up dying. I don't think the nursery should be selling it because its so hit & humid here it's almost like rain
