Lol... Those trees which have the pods you showed at about 1:40, my granny calls them "lollipop tree" in Hungarian slang. The official name is "krisztusfa" = Tree of Christ (Gleditsia triacanthos).

Hi, which place in India is this? Looks like you had lot of fun travelling by train. Next time I want to travel by 2nd class train. Lot of entertainment on the way. 1st class is boring.

Great video. You must be tired travelling 50km in a rickshaw. not growing pumpkin and groundnut?
-
Are there any dangerous insects and reptiles in your area?
-
Here in northern Scandinavia we have a tree/shrub called Siberian pea shrub that grows in my town. It too is supposingly nitrogen fixing. It is fast growing, very cold hardy, and perhaps has edible beans. Well I have eaten the flowers at least, and they didn't do anything to me.

You need to make longer videos like this one. Lot's of fun to watch and educational. Thanks for sharing your adventure!

I noticed you did not film there faces, that area looks so uncivilized, type of living style.
-
That area looks very dry.

Howdy Dave, Good luck with the back pains you will have sleeping on that stuff.

Do you have to weed really frequently in that climate?

Have you by any chance tried collecting some cannabis seeds from around the area? It might be interesting to find the farmers/fields cultivating the best hashish, and then save the seeds from those plants. A lot of the North American and European Cannabis strains are so hybridized at this point i can only iamgine the benefits of some stronger, "landrace" lineages. Just some thoughts. Happy gardening my friend stay up!
