1. Greetings !!!we too experience this aswell in most of the months here in south India.can you please suggest some of your all time favourite tomatoes ??Also,let me know the status of my request.

2. I'm also in Maryland (Howard County), and wow, the extended heat and all-or-nothing rain have made for a rough growing season. I had a couple hundred transplants ready, but because I couldn't plant in ground this year, it's been a tragic season for tomatoes and even peppers.
3. Thanks for info..I was wondering what the problem was with my "Toms"..I didn't have this problem in England,but since I moved to Corfu Greece I've had this problem.Now I know what is causing the problem..The temperature has been over 40C most days for the last 6 weeks..Thanks again for info..
4. Finally! This is the 2nd year where I've had healthy looking plants just die in a day or two while the neighboring plant looks fine. I thought there might be some sort of underground contamination but it sounds like it was the heat. It's also the 2nd year that my small cherry (current) tomato is taking over the yard, so I guess it doesn't mind the heat. Thanks for the info!

6. you deserve a Paul Robeson tomato. It’s a cold season tomato from Russia so try starting them early in the season so the first set of tomatoes ripens before the heat. The taste of the Paul Robeson tomato is outstanding and fruit size can reach one pound.
7. Thanks for this video. I live in Fl zone 9 where it has been in the 100s and I thought this yellowing was overwatering or the neem oil I used.

12. In our experience in the gulf coast area, it's the night-time heat that does them in.  By the end of June they look terrible, which is normal here.  We can plant another round of short-season tomatoes in August.
13. I'm in Maryland also and grew about 8 or so plants of the Paul Robeson variety and all but two had the same wilt problem and have already died off. What ever the issue was has spread to other varieties also which are still alive but have the wilting leaves starting from the bottom up. I wont be growing those again. Love the videos keep up the good work!
14. Hi Gary, thanks for this vid. Just wanted to say, re: the Paul Robeson. I have 3 of them. One of them looked exactly like the one you showed. I just removed it this morning, because I'm pretty sure, considering the other 2 look ok so far, it just might be bacterial wilt. I'm going to do the stem test in water in a little bit. Hope I didn't jump the gun, but I don't think so, since bacterial wilt can come from temps over 90*.
15. I have several tomato plants all growing well but I have yet to get any ripe tomatoes. I guess the heat is doing it. I'm up in Cecil County Md so we have the same weather.
16. Good video! I live in Dallas and this is the first year that I'm going to leave all my spring tomato plants in the ground all summer and see if they come back to life in the fall and bear fruit! They are really getting hammered by heat right now and many look bad, but I water deeply every day so we shall see what happen in September!!
17. thanks Gary, I live in sunny Florida and I've been battling this for quite some time, I thought I had a serious blight problem but now I definitely know it's a heat problem.

19. I'm in Georgia and the heat has only been good to my melons, all my tomatoe plants have flowers but no fruit yet it's been so hot , could the heat be the issue since I have so many flowers but no fruit yet
20. The heat and sun has got to my garden this year, most days it has been 100+ in the sun here in The Low Country of SC. Even the professional farmers on my road look like there having trouble. I have a well so I can't go crazy with watering and the garden has no shade. The only thing that did OK was squash type plants with very big leafs and my eggplants ! Lost everything else. Next year I will have to find some shading ,do heavy mulching and a better choice of plants. Thanks for the video.
