I really enjoy watching your video's and commentaries. You have so much information to help the rest of us, thanks for sharing your gardening expertise. I live in the NW and our seasons are a little different. One of the most fascinating hints, to me, is the fish and lime below the cucumbers........it all makes good sense. God Bless you both for your garden video's and your love of Christ!!

Hi Hollis and Nancy! I just found your channel. I saw your video on Hurricane Matthew recovery. I notice that your soil appears to be rich and not too sandy. I'm wondering where you are located? I'm in Central Florida and deal with a lot of sandy soil. How can I build up a rich organic soil?

Can you tell me some ways you are going to use all those cucs?

is the cow manure the only dirt you use after putting your boards down.I learned a lot watching your videos on cucumbers I love them.

Thank you for this video, I had very bad luck with my cucumbers this year. I thought it was because of the heat but now I think maybe I killed them.

I love cucumber sandwiches, made just like a tomato sandwich, Mayo slat & pepper on white bread.
sometimes I peel the cucumbers, and sometime I don't. I also like raw peeled and sliced turnip about 3/8 " thick.
cooked turnips are kind bitter to me, but raw I like them. They also have a great crunch! -
I live in Hilo Hawaii. I have been trying to grow cucumbers but I'm having trouble with the Asian and regular green cucumbers. I love the Asian type of cucumber but they don't do well for me. I have been successful with the white cucumber but my family is not used to it so they kind of shy away from it. Could you tell me what you use to grow your Asian cucumbers and how, often do you water the plants? Thank you. I'll be checking for your response. God bless!
