All three of my squash and zuccs died from squash borers, but I had some back up plants since it was my first time. How do you keep them away?

I am so in love with your channel. Your details were simple and to the point. Thank you so much. I would like to see the procedure on how you water your plants.

What kind of fertilizer? I had 8 of each plant and they dried up and died. I only got 2 zucchini and 10 squash.

I"ve been invaded by vine borers, this year. Destroyed 10 plants. I performed surgery but, the plants never made it. Do you have any tips on deterring these killers.

I love your channel and love that you give thanks to our Lord! I love to grow zucchini and squash and I've fixed it just about every way under the sun. I like to dehydrate it so I have plenty for my chicken soup in the winter time. I live in San Antonio Texas and I've just had an awful time with squash borers. About the time the plants start producing I will go out to the garden and see my big beautiful plants wilted and then I find this mealy yellow stuff on the vine. Can I container garden with Zucchini and yellow squash!
