I can't do it! I've tried to watch other videos, but not thrilled. Hollis and Nancy, you have been a blessing to watch. I have learned so much from watching you two, that I feel like this year I'll finally have a really good garden. Have you tried growing sweet corn? If you have is there a video somewhere about it. PLEASE!!!!!! keep making videos. I believe we are in need of getting back to creating most of our own food again to be healthier, plus I have preteen boys that I'm trying to teach these things to also. God Bless You.

Our okra is about 7 ft. tall now, and we have been harvesting nearly every day. I like to cut it in small pieces, shake it in a bag of corn meal, and freeze it. I pull it out of the freezer dip it in egg and our favorite breading, then fry it up. What a treat!

I will definitely try growing okra next year! I've givin' up on squash and zucchini, the borers wore me down, so I will replace them with the okra! Thanks, I love y'all!

"super duper seed dropper because it says so." Haha thanks for the funny.

Have you heard of pruning okra for increasing yields? And would I need to hand pollinate if I don't have a lot of pollinators around? Thanks for such great videos, I'm gonna try to grow some okra by next spring! :D

I can't help but love everything you do seems like you have a plan for everything you plant we all depend on the Lord making it do what it needs to for all of us and you and Nancy just fit together so well you're so blessed I merely jealous but I have a mighty fine faith in the world that will help me grow what I need I planted a little late but that was okay through my little mistakes I've gotten some and it's made me and my 89 year old mom very happy we had fried okra for supper tonight about a month ago we had fried green tomatoes till I thought we were just going to have too many . so keep on doing what you're doing the right way you're walking with the Lord thank you thank you thank you I'm glad we're all a big happy family take care.

Fried Okra. I know which side of the Mason Dixon you come from ;) Good stuff Hollis. I used to live in Norfolk over in Cherokee heights around 1970. So I've lived in your neck of the woods, Nice country around Chesapeake Bay.

Thank you! I don't see many good videos for growing okra. I started my okra earlier this month and I'm excited for some yummy eats made with them. Do the flowers need pollinating like the cucurbita family in order to grow the okra or dkurpad@gmail.com the fruits just grow from the flowers?

thanks Hollis! and I want to say I love and appreciate your videos and the time you take to make them. You two are so cute, you need your own TV show!

I have been loving that super duper seed dropper. And this week , it dawned on my that I have a bunch of different pvc pipes stored under my deck😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I hated okra, growing up. But, when I was pregnant with our first, I craved fried okra & tomatoes EVERYday.🙆🏾🙆🏾🙆🏾 Long live the yummy okra🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Love that "Super Duper Seed Droper". Going to make me one today! Would love to see how Nancy and you fry it up. Any special batter? I might try to grow some okra. I live on a lake and it's super windy; will probably have to give it some support.
