Here's a quick and easy way to make some gold, and it's pretty fun too. The new Heart of Thorns expansion features a new map, Auric Basin, where you'll be able to participate in a mapwide chain of events and metaevent. Upon completion of this you'll be rewarded with chests that can be opened that contain rare and valuable items. This video will go over everything you need to know to make gold in Auric Basin. Would love to see a comparison of the HOT zones for which is the most profitable - I've been doing VB and AB and staying out of TD and DS too but am curious how they stack up against each other and if it's worth gearing up a bit more to survive in TD/DS.
