Great video! Thanks for sharing :)

I am so excited! I planted carrots, radishes and beets in my new 10 gallon cloth pots. The radishes sprouted within a couple of days and the carrots and beets have sprouted as well. I will be planting lettuce in the next couple of days in my square foot garden. Your channel is the best!

Kim,
Why do you cut the plant out instead of just pulling them out to thin them out? Wont the vegetable still grow if you just cut off the top? Should I pull them out or cut them to thin them? I'm talking about radishes.
I love your videos!!

What potting soil do u use? Thank you.
-
What brand of potting soil are you using?
-
I planted the laziest beets in the world. 1 month in and half of them can't decide if they want to play along or not
-
My carrot seeds sprout but then the seedlings die back. It was 100 degrees here this past Tuesday! Should I delay my carrots until the days go back down to 70-75 degrees?
-
Great info! I too am in SoCal. But I think it's great that you referenced frost and other issues people in other areas will be encountering soon, and making recommendations based on colder weather. Personally, I'm hanging on for something under 90F, LOL. Good vid.

The series keeps getting better Kim! You guys are doing an awesome job, love it! And I'm loving them SmartPots!!! Still need to get my carrots and beets planted and I can't wait!
-
Hey Kim- another great video. Thank you. Any suggestions on planting fruit trees and citrus trees in large containers?
-
Nice video Kim. Great way to keep getting fresh vegetables longer.

After this vid, I am doing a first using the cloth bags I had. Loose potting soil will see can not wait for fresh beets have not had any as of yet, small finger carrots, radish do not like radish others do, so doing a few of these.
Winds this yar killed almost all my expensive herbs some made it the cayenne plants doing great, but not big enough till Jan but will see 12 inches tall bit how long till they produce?
I also learned elevation maters 2,ooo feet so some plants will not grow I did not know elevation was an issue I know now,
You said put beets ? under an awning I read all te plants I am doing says full sun? -
Just wondering if there's any specific reason that you used potting "mix" for the big smart pot, but potting "soil" for this episode on other pots?
-
Love your videos. Started watching them 2 years ago. Spinach is the only plant I feel confident about growing till now.
Any tips for broccoli? I tried two years and both times I got very small flower. -
great vid! Can we grow radishes and carrots in those 9 inch deep circular grow bags? I have a problem kim with my white icicle radishes. they are 2 months old but i find no bulbs under the soil. just a long lanky white thin stem going underneath (some 6 inches deep). the leaves look great though. what to do? thanks

is that a fall tank top?
-
Great to see you again Kim. It's nice to see you doing some container gardening. Now theres much more garden versatility and I Love it. I'm seeding right now in my atrium and can't wait to get my starters outside when the weather actually cools off. thanks for showing this episode and please say hello to CameraGuy.

If people have problems growing long carrots, round parisian carrots grow like radishes in less than ideal soil. Mine self seed. I also like fabric pots. Great videos.

I learned a great trick from another YouTube gardener to help germinate seeds that were recently planted. I of course water them in and then put a piece of burlap over the newly planted seeds and water thr burlap. The burlap stays on top until the seedlings emerge. it keeps them moist and protects from harsh sun. it's worked perfectly everytimr I've used it.

What do you mean by thinning them?
