So I have a stalled pepper plant around 15 inches high, it's in a 5 gallon bucket by itself with a mixture of 2/3 potting soil and 1/3 three in one mix (manure, peat moss and black soil) This is the soil I used when I transplanted it but it has not grown an bit, plus it has had about 8 flower buds on it now for about 2 weeks that refuse to grow or open, I have not used any fertilizer on it what so ever as the soil mix should have had enough to carry it forward and I didnt want to stunt fruiting further by adding N to it, any suggestions here???

I had two habanero plants that I couldn't separate last season. I put them both in the same 7 gallon pot and tilted them sort of sideways and topped them. Both plants grew to a comparable size to other pepper plants in my garden. With the main stem sideways, the plants grew like a healthy, fallen tree would. I will be trying a similar method this year with all of my peppers!

hey gary can I grow two Carolina reapers in a 16 inch wide, 7 gallon bucket or should I just plant 1? i wanna plant two but im scared that they will each fight for space and ill just end up with 2 small peppers by the end of the growing season instead of 1 big one. what do you think i should do?

I was wondering how long the bamboo stakes are that you use?

It is ok to add Epson salt with soil mix, or add it later when watering.

I am going to try doing this, this year with peppers and tomatoes. I planted different varieties of lettuce and some spinach in pots last year with no luck at all. I think my soil was too dense, but not really sure...any thoughts.

I just drill some holes in the bottom of my buckets & throw in some marbles or stones for drainage.? This works great for all of my plants.
