-
bugs go for any food outdoors. that should be a given:P

Well, I have great soil, but mildew and bugs got mine. You didn't mention that. And what kind of organic fertilizer? Did you put epsom salts in the soil?
-
although I agree that rude comments aren't necessary especially on a bloody gardening video! I have to agree with William in your claim to be an organic gardener and buying your plants from the shops? there's nothing better than taking the seeds from your excess to grow the next harvest

I grew 465 lbs tomatoes on 11 plants that I grew from seed. My neighbors thought I was crazy at first, until they saw the finished product. Developed for the arctic to be 2" global fruit, well I was in Southern Ontario the result was as big as 4 1/2" size and sweet as honey :)

simgar.com makes the ultimately best system for starting from seed. i grew 100lbs in one season.

wow a lot of rude comments some people just don't want to go out of the way with starting from a seed if you prefer it then go ahead but some people don't and they don't have to and I have some experience with making a tomato gardens im helping out with one at my higheschool in FFA and we have more then 100 tomato's that we donate to food 4 families so the starter plants are easier and faster then seeds
-
Woah, a lot of mean comments from tomato Nazis. There's a lot more effort that goes into producing a video than it takes to complain about one. Make your own informative YT video instead. Gardening is for everyone.

For all those relying on bought transplants i would suggest you grow from seed as i find its much easier to monitor the plants growth and the young plants are more sensitive to the growing conditions so you learn a lot more about your plants.
