I've had a lot of questions about my tomato growing methods so I thought I'd share with you what I've done with mine for the first 30 days. If you want to see this year's 14 tomato varieties they are on my blog as well as a bit more info about each one. http://www.gapeysgrub.com/2015/03/this-years-tomato-varieties.html 1. Plant 2 seeds in each cell. 2. Place on heat mat set to 75 degrees in the dark until germination (4-7 days depending on seed age and variety). 3. 6500k fluorescent shop light kept 1-2" from top of plant for 16 hrs/day after germination 4. bottom water when needed and thin to one seedling per cell. 5. bottom water with liquid fertilizer after true leaves emerge (I used Neptune's Harvest Fish & Seaweed Fertilizer) 6. transplant to larger pots when roots start showing through the bottom of container.
