1. fist time grower here. Attempting short and sweet carrots. Do the grass clippings have to be a hay color like yours or can they be just green grass clippings. Or can i take dried leaves and place them on top? Thank you for your video you have been very helpful 
2. Your videos are great! I'm in Denver- do you think some of your advice applies here too? 
3. I bought the sweetest, crunchiest carrots ever at the Farmer's Market in Boulder about 20 years ago. I have been trying to reproduce that for the past few years in Western New York and am not having much luck. Maybe there is something in the Rocky Mountain soil?
