Just a basic how to grow Spider plant video. Spider plants are one of the most tolerant plants around. They are not fussy at all they can grow in high light or low light. They can have wet feet or be dry..lol.. Amazing plants really. but for the best growth then light Bright indirect light, moist well draining soil and tone fertilizer from time to time. I have a spider plant but instead of dirt I used sand. It seems to be growing just fine but I actually want to switch it to dirt. Do you think this will be a good idea? or do you think I should leave well enough alone?

you break all the leaf

my spider plant has just produced a third strand with babies. its gone crazy compared to what i have had in the past. not sure how to take babies off to get them all flourishing.dont want to lose any. do i need to sacrifice some to save others?

I have a young spider plant and it is doing well, but it is only growing straight up,, how can you get it to grow like the one your showing , like to bush out?

Great video. Very informative. Just to add some info . . . In Ireland Spider Plants can tolerate direct sunlight without the leaves turning brown - the temperature never goes above 26 Celsius and rarely above 18. However, if planted outside in Ireland the Spider Plants die completely over the winter; these plants cannot tolerate the sudden drop in temperature on a freezing winter's night.

I just got a spider from my doctor's plant in her office, i have it rooting in water... Going to put it in soil soon!
