Growing Serrano and Jalapeno Peppers in Containers
Tips, Tricks
On April 3, 2016 I transplanted some Jalapeno and Serrano peppers into a larger flower pot. I have not had much luck in the past growing peppers, don’t know why as they are supposed to be easy to take care of. Any way I am trying again to see what I can do. They got off to a good start but as time went by and it got hotter I did not give them enough water and they suffered from the stress. I eventually moved them to a more shaded area but it was too late It has been REALLY hot here now. I have got some fruit from these plants and there are more growing so it was not a complete failure. I have added shade cloth to the greenhouse this year and my peppers are doing much better in there. Might just shade them next year and see how that does for you!

Another attempt and failure at growing and a lesson learned. Will try again.
