Nice part 1 and part 2. How big did the plants get? Did you harvest the seeds or just pick the greens? WE live in Salmon Arm, British Columbia and grow some plants too for the seeds. They grow between 3-6ft.

Wild quinoa is often called Lambs Quarter. It's considered a noxious weed in many places. I let a hill of the stiff go wild last year and my 3yo called it his jungle. He trampled a path through it and a bare spot on top of the hill where he would hide and play in the dirt. They ranged in height from 5 to 9 feet tall be end of the season. One stalk I harvested for a garden stake measured approx. 2" diameter. Didn't realize it was a.k.a. quinoa till I saw this and did a little research.

But what should I plant? What is Quinoa seed? Is the seed what we buy in healty food stores or? Please answer me! Thank you! :)

So, quinoa is a grain....so does that mean the seeds are the grain part? Do they dry the seeds and that becomes the quinoa they sell in the health food store that you cook like rice?
