Mine has two month and doesn't look like those at all.--- Five plants and they look so weak, small and the trunk weak and I don't know how your look like that.Do you add fertilizer or some thing ?
-
they seem to love fish emulsion as fertilizer.
(directions on bottle work great)
a small amount of molasses helps too
maybe a teaspoon in 1 or 2 gallons every month
(adds iron and feeds beneficial bacteria)
you CAN burn them with chemicals
they do not require much fertilizer, especially after they are grown.
the roots like a softer soil, i like mulching around the base
can grow in a lot of soil types
Neutral to slightly acidic soil is best for pomegranate.
but, pH range of 5.5 to 7.0 is ok -
This is going to sound like a painfully stupid question, but can these techniques be applied to dwarf pomegranates as well, or do special considerations need to be made for them?

Hi, what is your watering schedule like for your pomegranates? I'm from the Portland, OR area. I've got a 1y/o pom and 3 5m/o poms but I just can't seem to get the watering right and the older one seems very delayed; it basically looks like a foot tall version of yours. Any other tips you can give are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
