Growing plants from store bought produce..
Tips, Tricks
Growing plants from market & store bought produce is something we have always done with good results.. In some cases we do it just to try different varieties & in others it is just good economics.. Buying & sowing spice & pulse seeds are another way you can grow plants cheaply.. We've grown a few spices this way & will be trying more soon.. Arent you meant to be super carefull about planting some supermarket/ogm/monsanto seeds in your soil? I would only do this from organic shops.

What's that type of mulch around the sweet potatoes?

So jealous of your garden! I'm currently living in a small flat with not even a balcony, and I currently have 10 garlic plants on the go, along with 3 avocado seeds (early stages) and some bell pepper sprouts, and I'm going to be trying to grow tomatoes from seeds the next time I have a salad! I can't wait for the day I have garden full of plants!

I'm enjoying your videos rob, think i will learn heaps off them.
I'm in Ipswich to so same climate etc as you. we have always had some type of plants around the yard, mainly cherry, grape or egg tomatoes as they grow like weeds in the black soil.
recycling store bought herbs and salad plants is what re-sparked my interest in gardening a few months ago. my wife was buying ones from the shop and i look at them and think : i can plant them and save $ and have fresh food.
it's worked well bar the rodents eating them, which i'm in the process of controlling now. -
So much cheaper and fun as well. Great video, Rob!

Hey Rob can you help me out? I tried the pineapple but the water gets kind of discusting very fast, is it because it doesn´t get enough heat? Or is it because there are so much sugar in the bottom at the roots?

Thank you, this was great!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I love your idea. Thanks to you, I'm going to try to do most of mine organically, just to prevent the infertility sprays and other chemicals, of course. I really wish I could enjoy corn again, but I'm scared of it these days here in the U.S.A.
