Growing Okra! Just a few notes on my limited experience with okra.
Tips, Tricks
I really enjoy okra and I love it sauteed with cut onions and tomatoes. Or cut up and sauteed with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.

Nice looking okra. We conducted a trial here to find cultivars our local gardeners might have success with. We have so many micro-climates here that a variety that produces a bountious crop in one garden will not do well just a few miles away.

Okra grows crazy fast! I grow Baby Bubba okra, and it can go into December, which really surprised me. I had to stop picking to get the plant to finally slow down. I also cut it twice a day, because what's out there and small in the afternoon will sometimes be ready to pick later in the day, I've had it happen. Okra is a great plant to grow though, because its pretty easy once it gets started.
