how long does it take for you to harvest?

I made the mistake of starting my seeds in trays first, last year.

hi, sorry if i offend you but im a beginner n i have plenty of questions about gardening... i just started my seed thrugh paper towel method.. they have sprouted n grown 2-3 inches long ... can i transfer it directly to big container?? and if not why? right now they are in paper cups

Hello cg,I just sowed two okra on the pot,and they sprouted,my question is are they supposed to like yellow?,lol I didn't see you prune the okra do you suppose to prune them?.lol

how many okras pods can b grown on a well grown plant?

I'm an American living in the Philippines. I have never grown Okra myself, but the neighbor has one very large Okra plant. For a while it was nice and green and producing. Now, it seems to be dying. I never saw any bugs, and there are quite a few flowers at the top. Does this mean it is going to seed? Will it rebound?

At the foot of the plant there is a vine growing. It isn't out of control, but does the Okra need a ton of nutrients and the vine is sucking up too much of it? Could that be the issue?

when I sow the okra seeds I place them one every 6 inches later when they are about 6 inches tall I thin them to one every foot. then you can eat the okra plants that you pull up. The leaves are very good raw.
