Hi, I have mint plants and this is the first year that my mint has flourished and lived for many months. I want to protect them as it gets colder but I can't bring them inside because I lack space near any lighted areas. I thought about a mini sheltered greenhouse but I live about 20 feet from the bay and it gets really cold when the wind comes off the wate

Love this video!! Am growing spearmint from seed, as well as some others ... looking forward to more herb videos from you! What a beautiful garden :) BTW I grew basil this year, green and red, and WOW! It really does produce a ton! I grew it from seed just like you said to off of your other videos, with the clamp lights, and they really took off. They are in my back and front yard, among the tomatoes and peppers and zinnias. Is sweet mint the same as spearmint?

Hi Kim, I came back to this video for a reason. I think you should repost this video for good reasons of course. Many folks do not understand that this erb can be easily grown. What kind you have mint types I have one sweetmint and lemon balm

I love your planters! Did you paint them? If so, what kind of paint did you use? I'm hoping to get some large pipe from where I work and want to do the same thing.

You didn't say what kind of mint you're growing. Peppermint? Spearmint? Looks like peppermint. You can make your own oil with it. Love your video's :)

how would you preserve the mint so you could grow it again next season?

I've left my mint in my garden for 4 or 5 years and the leaves are as long as the width of my hand and half as wide
