If you want to grow lettuce indoor, but don't have enough space, try growing them inside solo cups. Feed them hydroponic nutrients and you will get many harvests from a single plant. Hey Khang, is that leaf lettuce or head lettuce? I was thinking the reason why the leaves are so small is maybe because it is not head lettuce.

how did you get it to grow in the cup? Did you plant seeds in the soil to begin with? and what type of lettuce is this? did you grow this with grow lights?
Why did you choose "hydroponic" solution, rather than continuing with soil, water, sunlight in a slightly larger pot (the plant clearly wants to get larger). Watering and an occasional DIY fertilizer (recipes available all over the internet). Just curious about the reasoning. I'm finding that hydroponically grown veggies just don't have the richness of flavor and denseness of nutrients as the well-managed, traditionally grown veggies do. ( Example: the tomatoes you buy at the store have NO WHERE NEAR the flavor and body of a regular soil garden....or planted pot).
