The Benefits of Coco Coir -retains water better than soil/peatmoss -PH neutral -sustainable resource - reusable and doesn't degrade in time -fungus resistant/immune -easy to flush (salt build up/ too much fert.) -clean to work with (does not get under fingernails, brushes right off hands, - immediately absorbs water (no water build up) -perfect for starting seeds for hydroponics

Love your videos! I'm in the process of switching from using peat moss to coco coir. While I'm not especially concerned with "renewable resources" nor an "organic" gardener (whatever that is), I do like the properties of coir ... neutral (in terms of NPK) and porosity (drains well) - better than peat.
