GROWING GREEN BEANS (OAG 2014)
Tips, Tricks
Growing green beans is very easy. In this video I started the beans in soil blocks and then transplanted them to this row. After loosening the soil I sprinkle 13-13-13 fertilizer and lightly stir it into the soil. Dig a small hole and place a soil block/bean in each hole. I do not spray these beans with any pesticides. The variety is: Rattle Snake Pole Beans. It is an heirloom so saved seeds will come back true to the ones planted. Thanks for watching and if you have questions post them below in comments (btw, you have to be subscribed to make comments) or you can PM me.

Hey OAG!! thanks for your uploads as always... this will be my first year growing beans...
i too am using star picket posts and have gone with baling twine this year, what metal mesh are you using? i think i will try that from now on, if i can find it here in Australia, as it was quite time consuming hand making my net.
thanks for your inspirational videos, you'll make a gardener out of me if its the last thing you do lolol -
I just started gardening. Curious: Why thin them out? Wouldn't that make more beans?

I love these where at the end of the year you go back to show all the different stages of the season of a particular crop.
