Growing Ghost Peppers in Pots - Trinidad Scorpion Butch T & Bhut Jolokia
Tips, Tricks
Another year, another batch of hot peppers in pots. To mix it up this year, I grew traditional ghost peppers but replaced the Trinidad 7s with Scorpion Butch T peppers. Like last year, the ghost peppers did just fine in a pot and preferred partial sun to full. In the hot summer days, the leaves had incredible wilting when they were in full sun, but it thrived when I moved it to the shade. For me, the Scorpion Butch T was just the opposite. Slow and limited growth in the cool and in the shade, but when the summer temperatures increased, it thrived in the full sun. Unfortunately it's now far behind in production. It remains to be seen if it can produce complete peppers before the cold comes.

HELP. I am growing Bhut Jolokia (ghost Peppers) in a pot. Plenty of buds, healthy looking plant. Whenever i have a flower, the stem and flower fall off right after pollination cycle is complete. Don't know what to do. Plenty of sun and regular watering.
