We're in the Ft. Lauderdale area. I purchased a packet of Milkweed seeds. Am learning about stratification. We have a very weedy yard that we just mow down, each week, and the weeds have those little purple flowers. So, my question is after stratification, starting the seeds indoors, where do we transplant them to? Is the sandy/weedy soil our yard conducive to growing the milkweed? Or should we grow in containers? The kind I got at Whole Foods is called, "Asclepias Tuberosa". I hope that is good for the butterflies in FL. I hope planting them in November/December is also a good time. It's hard to find info on this. Thank you!
