Harvesting cucumber with Agrosuede Backyard gardening. About a week ago, I featured these lovely cucumbers in a video dubbed :GROWING CUCUMBER: Agrosuede backyard gardening". Now it's time to harvest them... a few started to ripe, by turning yellow. I felt it was necessary to harvest them for that reason, also, I saw a few more started to develop, and in order for them to develop quickly and properly, they need all the nutrients they can get from the parent plant. By removing, or harvesting the bigger cucumbers, they intake of nutrient will they go to the new cucumbers, instead of older ones. I came across your channel tonight when I was trying to find out how to tell if a cucumber is ripe and ready to pick. In this video you mentioned that you may make a cucumber salad and add some sweet peppers. I have been looking for the video but can't find it so maybe you haven't yet. If not, could you? :)

@Robin Flaugh thank you. Yes is is very good, strong and you can use is over and over and over again. It is also easier to clean.... to clean off the dead vine plants.

Awesome Suede! Your organic cucumbers look great. I like your vertical setup. This year, I grew my cucumbers vertically. It was my first time growing vertically and it worked REALLY well! It seemed like the plants were healthier by not being in contact with the ground. Growing vertically is a good solution for maximizing small space too.

.thank for your videos we grow Japanese cucumber in bucket container it's never produce much but we are very happy it does produce a few cucumbers for to make fresh salad.

The seed gets hard on the too ripe ones. What variety did you grow? Thank you for the great videos, you explain each step very thorougly. And as a new gardener I very much appreciate that.

Congrats on your cucumber harvest. You can harvest your cucumbers earlier and smaller so they won't get bitter. They seem to be juicer and sweeter younger. I hope you enjoy them! You will get plenty more for sure.

When it gets too yellow it is over ripe and you get less of a good taste i think. Dont let them get too ripe
